Overview
Blueprint Appalachia follows Regenerating Asheville, a small community-led initiative pioneering the shift from recovery to regeneration in the wake of Hurricane Helene. This real-time docuseries captures the people, projects, and strategies driving Asheville’s transformation—offering a scalable model for other communities. Through bioregional mapping, collaborative innovation, and new funding frameworks, Blueprint Appalachia showcases how regeneration is not just possible—it’s already happening.
As the producers and directors of Blueprint Appalachia, we are honored to bring this transformative docuseries to life. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the Appalachian region faces the immense challenge of recovery—a task that requires innovation, collaboration, and a shared vision for a sustainable future. Through this project, we believe in the profound potential of media to serve as the thread of connection and communication between the diverse groups working tirelessly to rebuild.
OUR ROLE & VISION
In addition to directing and producing, we take on the role of "Innovation Explorers." This means actively seeking out experts, innovators, and thought leaders from across the globe who can contribute their genius to Asheville’s recovery. By connecting these trailblazers with local leaders, organizations, and residents, we aim to foster a decentralized blueprint for resilience—one that prioritizes adaptability, empowerment, and community-driven solutions.
Blueprint Appalachia is more than a documentary; it is a living framework that showcases how regions can recover from disaster while building a sustainable future. By documenting the process of rebuilding through compelling storytelling, we aim to create a model that not only serves Appalachia but can inspire communities worldwide.
OUR MISSION & VALUES
Our mission is to use the power of media to amplify voices, bridge gaps, and create actionable solutions for disaster recovery. We believe in the values of collaboration, sustainability, and innovation, and we are committed to highlighting the stories of resilience, courage, and determination that define this region. At the heart of this project is a belief in the power of human connection—the idea that by working together, we can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and renewal.
